Video Welcome Packet
The video welcome packet was designed to give prospective families a feel for Edina Public Schools. The packet contains four videos, each focused on a different aspect of the District. Next year, we plan to add a special services video and pre-school video.
"Why Edina?"
| “Why Edina” is the first video installment of our new welcome packet. Serving as the introductory piece, “Why Edina” is designed to provide a broad overview of the District. The video features a handful of teachers, students, parents and community members who describe what an Edina education means to them. | |

Edina middle school overview
| Middle school is a critical time of transition. Students become more responsible for their learning and begin to think of themselves as individuals. The curriculum at Edina Public Schools is rigorous, but a caring and talented staff makes it possible for all students to reach their potential. This is a time of exploration and both of Edina's middle schools present an excellent environment for growth. | |

Edina elementary school overview
| What does an elementary experience look like for an Edina student? Well, that depends on which students you ask. Edina Public Schools offers a range of choices for its elementary learners. The District has a French immersion school and two magnet continuous progress programs. Parent involvement is not only encouraged, it's a critical component of the classroom. All six elementary schools offer a safe environment where children can experiment and explore their talents and interest. | |

Edina activities video
| Edina High School offers a range of athletic and extracurricular opportunities. Edina athletes have won a total of 141 championships and there are 13 sports for boys and 19 for girls. In addition, several adapted sports are available through the South Suburban Adapted Athletics program. The District also offers 41 non-athletic, extracurricular activities in fine arts, academics and social service. Ninety percent of high school students participate in one or more extracurricular activities, winning local, state and national recognition for their work and commitment. Student surveys show that 90% of Edina High School students take part in these activities and that one in three takes one or more leadership roles. | |
