Edina Public Schools Releases the Edina Events Card
Free Admission to School Events Offered to Adults age 60 or Better

Edina, Minn., Dec. 04, 2008 – Edina Public Schools (EPS) is pleased to offer adults age 60 or better free general admission to school events. The Edina Events Card allows the card holder and one guest to attend theatrical, musical or home-played athletic events for free. Those who qualify for the benefit must be 60 years of age or older and live in the EPS District.

The Events Card is an open invitation for adults who don’t have children in the Edina schools to come see what the District has to offer. It works in conjunction with Edina’s 60+ Initiative, a new array of adult programming designed by Edina Community Education specifically for the 60+ demographic.

Those who would like an Events Card must complete a short order form. Order forms can be accessed one of three ways:

  1. Click here to download and complete the form
  2. Pick up a form from the Community Center located at 5701 Normandale Rd.,
    Edina, MN 55424.
  3. Call 952-848-3952 and request to have a form mailed to you.

While the Events Card is good for nearly all EPS events, it does exclude hockey games at Braemar Arena, Current Jams, post-season athletic events and events projected to sell out. A roster of events is posted online. The Edina Sports Hotline is also updated daily and can be reached by calling 952-848-3814.
