Registration for Kindergarten
Kindergarten registration is held at the neighborhood schools each year in January.
Any registrations after that time must be done in person at the Welcome Center.

Registration Checklist
In order to help facilitate the registration process please have the following items with you when registering your student(s).
- √ If Edina resident - Proof of Residency
(rental agreement, closing paperwork, utility bill, driver's license change, etc) - √ Immunization Records
- √ Name and address of school student is transferring from
- √ Official School Transcript
- √ If Kindergarten - Certified Birth Certificate for verification - Not Copy
- √ If Special Education - Copy of IEP

Registration for Grades K-12
Three ways to register:

Registration packets and school year calendars are available to pick up and fill out in person, at the Welcome Center. - Hand deliver the Registration Forms

Our registration forms are available as pdf files to view, fill out and print.
Registration Packet
This includes the Registration Form, Home
Language Questionnaire, Request for Student Records, Student On-line
Acceptable Use Consent Form and the Non-Release of Student Data Form.
(Please understand that if you choose not to release your child's student
data, you will not receive any information about programs outside of
the district. (For example: Park and Recreation, non-school sponsored
athletics, community activities, etc.)
Intradistrict Transfer Form
The school district will have an open intradistrict transfer policy in its elementary and middle schools to the extent that the district determines that there is space availability, based on class size guidelines and building capacity, for a student wishing to enroll from another school attendance area. Health Forms
Minnesota Statute 121A.15 requires that all students
must be immunized against specific diseases. There are exceptions. Students
must show immunization dates or a notorized form before starting school.
