Edina Public Schools District Policies
The Edina Public Schools adminstration and school board are in the process of updating the policies of the school district. The updating aligns with Minnesota State Statutes and the governance structure of the district. The update will create a new numbering structure and format to the policies.
The new numbering system identifies policies by one hundred series. The current numbering system identifies policies and procedures by one thousand series. The district will operate under a dual system until each one thousand series has been updated and changed to the new numbering system.
The new policy format identifies the purpose of the policy, the policy statement and the language that clarifies the policy through definitions, procedures and related information.All policies included in this manual provide the governance structure and guidance in school district decisions.
